Four days by coach out of downtown Vancouver, with overnight stops in Revelstoke, the town of Banff and Valemount, and seasonal admission to Moraine Lake.
Updated 24 October 2026
The trip is four days long, from CAD 1268, rated 4.9 ★ (219 reviews), and it is the only multi-day product on this site. You travel by deluxe coach with on-board entertainment, with an experienced guide on board, and sleep three nights in hotels: Revelstoke, the town of Banff and Valemount, one of those nights in downtown Banff. The route takes in sightseeing stops in the Okanagan Valley and in the Rockies, including the turquoise lakes and the high peaks around Lake Louise.
Breakfast is included every morning, one lunch is included on either day 1 or day 4 depending on the departure date, and a wine tasting is part of the Okanagan leg. All fees and taxes are covered. Other meals, personal expenses and gratuities are not, so budget for dinners and for the lunches that fall outside the included one.
Admission to Moraine Lake is included seasonally, and that wording matters. Moraine Lake Road is closed to personal vehicles all year, and the lake itself is reachable only from early June to mid-October; licensed commercial operators may drive the road with a Parks Canada Licence of Occupation, which is how a coach gets you there. Book a date inside that window if Moraine Lake is the reason you are going.
The itinerary sometimes runs in reverse, Valemount before Banff and Revelstoke last, and it can change for reasons outside the operator's control. Departure times vary by departure date; the exact time for your date appears in the confirmation email, so read it before you plan the night before.
Parking is the real pinch point at Lake Louise rather than the driving, since the lakeshore lots fill extremely early and stay full all day in peak season. On a coach that problem is the driver's, not yours. Pack layers either way: Lake Louise averages 21/5 C in July and 15/0 C in September, and snow can fall on the alpine trails in any month.
The minimum age is 6. For families with younger children, or anyone who wants a single long day instead of four, the Calgary-based day trips below are the better fit.
Some departure dates run the route in reverse, Valemount first and Revelstoke last, with the same hotels, stops and inclusions. Departure times also vary by date, so check availability for the date you have in mind.

The two alternatives in the table leave from Calgary, Canmore and Banff, not from Vancouver. They are the option for travellers who fly Vancouver to Calgary and want the lakes in one day: Calgary International Airport to Banff National Park is about a 130 km, 90-minute drive, and both tours run 8 to 10 hours with pickups in the city.
Choose the four-day coach trip if you want the Okanagan Valley, the mountain highways and three nights of hotels without arranging a flight. Choose a Calgary day trip if your time in Alberta is short, if you are travelling with a child under 6, or if you only want Lake Louise and Moraine Lake in a single run.
